The Legend is Real: It’s a Unicorn™ Cannula!

The science behind the Unicorn™ Cannula

Join us for a research-backed journey into the world of high velocity therapy like you've never seen before. Can you determine myth or fact? In this can't-miss live webinar, we’ll explore the science behind the “Unicorn™ Cannula” — and prove that the legend lives up to the hype.

Learning Objectives:

  • How high flow is affected by a single-prong cannula and review recent research to understand clinical effects.
  • Understand high velocity therapy mechanisms of action and the difference between small bore and large bore cannulas on respiratory rate and CO2 flush.
  • Discuss the science behind cannula design and review computational fluid dynamics modeling (CFD).
