An Awake and Walking ICU - Roundtable Discussion

Discuss the clinical evidence and real-life experiences of the A2F Bundle and early ambulation

    Overview:

When it comes to sedation, mobility, and the prevention and management of delirium in the ICU, the methods used in most ICUs are not aligned with best practices, such as the ABCDEF (A2F) Bundle. In this LIVE roundtable discussion, Matt Pavlichko moderates a panel of providers (PT, MD, RN, and RT) on the clinical evidence of the A2F Bundle and early ambulation, and as well as their real-life experiences on implementing the A2F Bundle at their facilities.

    The panel will cover:

  • Understand the origin of the A2F Bundle.
  • Understand the clinical and economic evidence to support the A2F Bundle.
  • Discuss common obstacles to implement the A2F Bundle and possible solutions to overcome obstacles.
    Meet the Panel:
  • Mario Sosaya, BSRC, RRT-NPS
  • Wes Ely, MD, MPH
  • Kali Dayton, DNP, AGACNP
  • Heidi Engel, PT
