Your Instructor
Matt is the Director of Professional Development and Education, Respiratory Therapy at Vapotherm. He has been in the respiratory therapy field for over 25 years, practicing in South Central Pennsylvania and North Carolina as a respiratory therapist, educator, manager, and director, managing all aspects of respiratory care.
Most recently, Matt was the Respiratory Care & Pulmonary Diagnostic Services Director at Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health, Lancaster, PA. Prior to working at Lancaster General, he was the Director of Cardiopulmonary Services at Levine Children’s Hospital, Atrium Health (formally Carolinas HealthCare System) in Charlotte, NC for 4 years.
Matt holds degrees from the University of St. Francis in Health Care Leadership and Training & Development as well as Neonatal/Pediatric Specialist designation from the NBRC. He has been an active member of the AARC, NCSRC, and PSRC. Matt currently serves as the President for the Pennsylvania Society for Respiratory Care and a founding member of the Leadership Association for Respiratory Services.
